2nd IBN Meet - Recap

The 2nd IBN Meet hosted by IBN India was well received.

We have posted the photos from the 2nd IBN Meet here... Thank you IBN members, speakers & guests who attended and made this a success!

Here's a quick recap from Shri Sanjay Bhide, our IBN India Head, who hosted this 2nd IBN Meet:

>>> Due to heavy rains, as anticipated we had limited number of persons to participate in the 2nd IBN Meet. We had 32 persons including Guest Speakers.

New IBN Life Member Shri.Yogesh Naik, Chairman of Agro-Industry Committee of TACCI, MCed the evening very efficiently.

I told them my experience of IBN, how TACCI benefited due to authenticity of IBN, how IBN Members joined TACCI and have taken over as Office-bearers of TACCI in their respective Countries.

Last year's 1st IBN Meet's Chief Guest Shri.Mahesh Mudda was present for short time. I told the audience, how he has benefited by getting introduced to Shri.Bhatt, the husband of Sou. Pooja Bhatt, a Member of IBN. Now Shri.Mudda & Shri.Bhatt are working on few Projects together.

As a corporate social responsibility, we had asked H.E.Shri.Mehernosh Shroff to talk on the subject,"How to take care of Mentally Challenged." He is a Shipping Consultant himself and devoted to
the society. He is knighted by the King of Espana. He talked with full heart and explained how to take proper care of autistic children as well as grown up persons.

Shri. Wassi Ahmed Khan spoke for few minutes and shared his experience as a celebrity Tabaljee abroad in Tajikistan, South Africa, USA etc. Later he accompanied Pandit Winodbhooshan Aalpe. He is the recipient of The Pillar of Hindustaanee Society Award of TACCI this year.

To give fair share to Women Entrepreneurs, we had invited Smt.Suhaasinee Naadgaawkar, well-known Singer to share her experiences in Entertainment Industry. She narrated her struggle since childhood till
today to stay afloat in her profession. She also arranges her own Events. She sang some of her favourite songs later.

Shri. Sarosh Bana, the Executive Editor of Business India, was superb in giving justice to the subject given to him, "The Relevance of Business Publications in Electronic Era." He gave detailed data on the existing Publications. He also projected the role played by Business Publications in World Economy. He explained financial aspects of Business Publications. However, he accepted the fact that, due to SMS Culture, the trend of reading Business Publication is bound to reduce in coming years.

The formal evening ended in grand manner musically with singing by Smt. Suhaasinee Naadgaawkar, Shri. Sarosh Bana and Pandit Winodbhooshan Aalpe. Pandit Aalpe gave pure Classical Presentation as well as Abhangs ( religious recital ) in semi-classical base. They were accompanied by Shri.Wassi Ahmed Khan, the Tablaa Maestro. Pandit Aalpe and Shri.Khan received great applause.

The overall evening concluded with Cocktails & Dinner. We did hold a wonderful 2nd IBN Event successfully as scheduled. br/>
