 POSITION: SIEBEL DEVELOPERS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

(Duties job holder regularly performs)

Job Description:

1. Perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components.
2. Develop common test data for component testing.
3. Thoroughly component test individual components; participate in peer review of others' configuration.
4. Configure, build, and component test the application or technical architecture components.
5. Be responsible for Siebel Tools configuration, rules based engine development, scripting, and web template modification.
6. Work with other configurators, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and customization meet application requirements and performance goals.
7. Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.
8. Participate in code reviews.
9. Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.
10. Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
11. Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
12. Document the application to facilitate maintenance.

Competencies:

1. Analytical - synthesizes complex or diverse information, Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes in finance/banking
2. Problem Solving - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
3. Judgment - able to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
4. Technology - experience with sales, service and fulfillment systems implementation in financial services. Comfortable with Use Case Modeling and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
5. Demonstrable experience writing requirements & specifications for Information Systems.

2. Ability to write reports, routine business correspondence and prepare presentations.
3. Ability to analyze business processes/operations and provide recommendation.
4. Ability to work independently with the business users

7. Strong leadership and able to interact with all level of staff.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
(Years, type, industry-related, etc.)

1. Minimum around 3 - 5 years of experience as a Siebel Developer. Experience in Banking/Financial Services will be added advantage
2. Have knowledge/experience in basic Siebel configuration, workflow, scripting, workflow, etc. Experience in State Modeling, Analytics, BI Publisher, Order Management will be plus point.
3. Working knowledge and exposure to aspects of software development life cycle and processes in the sales and service area.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED
(eg. Certificate/Diploma/Degree/Master/Professional)

1. Recognized Degree in IT / Computer Science or related fields
