Efficacy of various psychometric tests to assess individuals

Hi everyone,

Inviting people to share the different tools they use to assess a person's capability.

Do you use psychometric assessments? if yes ? which ones? Do you find them effective ?

Do you have any tool to assess capability of an individual as a team player?

You may hire the best of talent, but if he cant adjust with the team or contribute positively, rifts begin to appear. Timelines go for a toss and the project gets delayed causing loss of revenue.
